Pre & Post Treatment Care

No waxing, tweezing, plucking, or products like Nair in the treatment area for at least 6 weeks before your appointment.
Shave the treatment area within 24 hours of your appointment.
Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Do not use self-tanner on the treatment area within 2 weeks of your appointment.
No antibiotics within 7 days of your appointment.
If you are wearing makeup or lotion in the treatment area, it will be cleaned off prior to the procedure.

You may use aloe vera and hydrocortisone to reduce redness and irritation.
Apply 50 SPF before sun exposure to any areas being treated to reduce the risk of burns and discoloration. However, sun exposure and tanning beds should be avoided as much as possible during the treatment course for best results.
Avoid hot baths, hot tubs, saunas, working out, or any activity that adds heat to the body for 24 hours after treatment.
Surface hair will shed 5-14 days after treatment. This is NOT new hair growth. You can exfoliate the area twice a week, starting on day 5 post treatment.
Avoid deodorant for 24 hours post treatment if your underarms are being treated.
You CAN shave in between appointments.

It is recommended to come back at least once a year for touch ups to maintain a smooth appearance and to get rid of any stubborn hair follicles. Results may vary from person to person, some clients require more or less frequent touch ups.
